The Butler Bulldogs made their latest recruitment move by offering Dorman High School (Roebuck, South Carolina) Class of 2020 point guard Myles Tate:
The 6’0″, 170 pound point guard led his team in scoring with 17 ppg to along with 5.4 apg and 2.3 spg this past season.
Considered a 4-star recruit, Tate has also received offers from South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, and Murray State among other schools.
Tate has shown speed, smooth handles, and the ability to shoot at a high level, but has also drawn praise for his leadership and intangibles on the court from the floor general position:
Of course, the Bulldogs have another 4-star, Class of 2020 point guard already committed, Chuck Harris. However, Harris has shown the ability to play as an off-guard, so having the two guards isn’t mutually exclusive–for both being future starters.
Regardless, Tate seems like a recruit whose stock is on the rise, and it’s not surprising to see the Bulldogs take notice.
