Butler Offers Class of 2021 Forward David Joplin of Brookfield, Wisconsin

The Butler Bulldogs have offered 6’7″, 215 pound forward David Joplin of Brookfield, Wisconsin, who’s now added among their top Class of 2021 recruiting targets:

The 3-star national recruit has also received offers from DePaul, Georgetown, Missouri, Valparaiso, and UNLV among other programs, so Butler will have some serious competition among its Big East rivals. He’s also received interest from Wisconsin, Ohio State, Iowa, Marquette, and Loyola among others.

Butler assistant coach Omar Lowery is a Wisconsin native, and head coach LaVall Jordan of course coached at Milwaukee–along with Lowery, so the two may already have a Wisconsin connection built with Joplin.

Joplin is a versatile, long and athletic tweener forward, who can drive, finish, and consistently hit jump shots off the bounce. He may see his stock continue to rise over this summer–if there’s games:
